Merging Norman Goodfellows’ extensive industry knowledge and logistics capabilities with Port2Port’s expansive e-commerce platform creates one of South Africa’s premier destinations for liquor purchases, offering unmatched selection and service from rare collectibles to everyday favorites.

Norman Goodfellows will contribute its logistical expertise, warehousing, and a diverse product range – particularly in spirits – to Port2Port’s e-commerce proficiency and selection of over 2800 products from 500 producers across more than 15 countries.

This collaboration is poised to significantly enhance product diversity and establish Port2Port as the preeminent online marketplace for liquor.

Product expansion

The amalgamation of the catalogues will enable Port2Port to offer over 5000 live SKUs. This extensive listing, a mix of marketplace offerings and core selections from NGF, aims to encompass every premium wine and spirit available in the market.

The partners also plan to diversify their offerings, to more accurately meet their customers’ needs. “Our technological advancements will introduce new functionalities and services, while NGF’s infrastructure will boost logistics and delivery, laying the groundwork for rapid scale,” Nicolò says.

“We are implementing a comprehensive integration with NGF’s inventory and logistics. Absorbing over 2000 SKUs across multiple warehouses, we aim to provide same-day delivery by dispatching orders from the nearest location to the customer’s address.”

An independent spirit

Despite their close collaboration, both brands will retain their independence. “Our operational methodologies will remain unchanged while we explore further long-term collaborations,” Nicolò adds.
