The Western Cape Department of Health has developed a guideline on the prevention of coronavirus spread in the workplace and the issues to address when dealing with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infected employees.
The document contains three sections:
- Background on how the coronavirus is spread and what can be done to prevent the spread of the virus.
- Advice on what to do, should someone in the workplace become infected with the coronavirus.
- Additional guidance to specific sectors with regards to preventing coronavirus infection.
