VinPro database

VinPro is currently updating its database of black-owned farming and cellar enterprises in the wine industry, as well as corporate social initiatives the industry is embarking on. We need your assistance to provide details of any programmes and projects you are investing in.

Is it worth sharing information like this with VinPro?

Absolutely! In fact, information from the previous survey conducted in 2014 was used to inform important programmes like the Wine Industry Strategic Exercise (Wise), the Wine Industry Value Chain Round Table (WIVCRT), promotion of the industry’s progress in ethically traded wine in the market place, funding resources for market access, and transformation with the South African Government. Consumers like to buy wine from good, responsible people. This survey is yet another way that the wine industry can prove it’s breaking with the trends of the past, and reveal its worth as a responsible custodian of change.

Is my information safe?

Independent, thoroughly vetted service providers are carrying out the project. If they contact you, please be assured that your information will be held in strict confidence and only published in a pool of information and not as individual business data without your explicit permission. We highly appreciate your assistance in providing all the necessary information.

If you have not been contacted by the service providers yet, but would like to share what you are doing, please contact Phil Bowes (Phil@vinpro.co.za) at VinPro and we will make sure your information is added.
