A handful of top sommeliers recently selected the pick of South Africa’s wine crop. The Sommelier Selection 2017 wine list is shared with SA’s top restaurants.
The wine list, which features close to 100 wines, favours wines in terms of their drinkability, excellent food pairing and exceptionally high quality. Some of the sommeliers on the judging panel were Pearl Oliver, Billet Magara, Joseph Dafana, Esmé Groenewald, Barry Schofield and Joakim Blackadder.
